Halbmarathon

Well in the heat of the German summer, I by choice ran the Koln Half Marathon. I have to admit, I had a whole list of excuses waiting as to why I did not do so well but it turns out that I did ok! I finished 21km in 1 hour 46 minutes. I think it had something to do with the woman who I shadowed the whole race who was running perfect 5 minute kilometres. Still thinking about attempting another marathon later in the year but cannot convince Betsy (who ran 1:59:55 by the way) to run with me as she still thinks I am trying to kill her!
